About the Project

THE PROCESS

From an idea to a technical design

A designer initially came up with the idea for the lighting at Saints & Stars. This creative design was elaborated by our project manager and he turned it into a technical design. The LED lines are controlled by DiGidot using PxLNet nodes and RX cards. The programming for the lighting installations is controlled by Madrix. One central control panel for the lighting has been put into use for the entire Saints & Stars gym.

Measuring tape is our best friend

For an optimal integration we went to Saints & Stars for the measurements. Here, we came across things that weren't visible in the blueprints of the designer, mostly because the building was an old church. For example, things like depth differences in the ceiling. We also checked on location how the installation had to be attached and how the cabling had to be done. At Saints & Stars Oud-Zuid for example we chose to control the lighting per floor through a control box.

The installation at Saints & Stars

We installed everything at Saints & Stars ourselves. The LED lines were customized and cut on location, as well as the cabling. With our dream team of eight professionals, we spent about two weeks on location to place, install and program the installation. What do you think of the end result? We think it's awesome!
